ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — On Thursday, Northwest Allen County Schools (NACS) met to discuss their strategic ten-year plan.
The NACS Senior Leadership Team presented the plan to the NACS Board of School Trustees, highlighting various projects to address the district's growing population.A new elementary school was suggested during the meeting. This would be the ninth elementary school in NACS.

One woman in life-threatening condition after showboating on motorcycle on N. Clinton

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- One woman is in life-threatening condition after "showboating" and crashing her motorcycle Thursday evening.In a press release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers responded to a traffic accident, in the 3100 block of N. Clinton Street, that happened just before 5 p.m.
Witnesses on scene said the motorcycle driver was "showboating" and doing tricks on her motorcycle when she lost control and hit another vehicle that was heading southbound.
