these are SO much fun to drive. i took a buddy of mines for a spin late last year and with the engine and factory ITB's right behind your head the noise is absolutely infectious and the car just wants you to rev the absolute piss out of it.

I would have said 6k-7k the most a 23 year old miata should go for, but I'm also very out of touch with post covid hype pricing.

For all I know those could be worth 20k today.

This one has a few things going for it: SE package (6mt and lsd), low rust, recent maintenance and fresh tires, low mods

I'm putting it at 8k+/-0.5 but there's already a few serious bidders present

It's a lot of money and time to swap an engine that wasn't meant for a car and you'll just end up with something that will give...exactly the same horsepower. NA miata 116hp 100ft/lbs of torque. 12A 115hp 100ft/lbs of torque

It's also not more reliable like the internet claims. You have a push a 12A to the very edge to get 200 hp out of it. A mild reliability focused 13B build will get you more power on a motor that isn't stressed out at all to make it.

Hell a renesis swap would make more sense.
