  @attritionorg @Xfinity @PWTooStrong My favorite remains a security DVR I had to set up that truncated all passwords longer than 8 characters. It was so stupid, you put in a long pass, it stored first 8. If you typed long pass, it failed, and required ONLY the 8 character.Oh, and admin credentials were hard coded.

  @Xfinity Yes but there is no eta, its been down all day. It was down all day on Dec 28th, I’ve already scheduled an appointment from Centurylink. I can’t rely on Comcast for a connection I need for work. This is the 6th or 7th outage in the past 12 months.

  @chase_roper Please help! I want to replace tv/internet/phone with internet only service, but I have such a hard time managing conversations w CS due to chronic illness-related brain fog. Comcast is the only internet provider in my area and I'd like to know what to say to get the best deal.

  @KokopelliEnt @chase_roper No way in hell that will work on Comcast’s choked to death cable lines. 25mb/s is only down. Up is like 1 . Even with my overpriced 400mb/s it can still run into throughput issues cuz their infrastructure just isn’t good. 25/25 might work on a fiber line.
